Biography
Mr. T. Baratha Dewanarayana is a Senior Consultant/Lecturer in School of Business – Colombo at the NIBM since 2007. Mr. T. Baratha Dewanarayana is a life member of Sri Lanka Economic Association (SLEA). He preliminary teaches in the field of Economics for undergraduate programs including Business Management, Human Resources Management and Logistics Management. In addition, he delivers lectures in Entrepreneurship and Research Methods. He has supervised dissertations of undergraduates and involved with journals as a reviewer of research articles of International Journal of Herbs, Spices and Medicinal Plants.

Biography
Ms. Dimani Jayatissa is a lecturer in School of Business at NIBM since 2016. She is a First- Class Degree Holder in Bachelor of Business Management specialized in Human Resource Management. Dimani was offered a full scholarship from Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Government of India and Ministry of Higher Education, Sri Lanka to pursue her first degree from Bangalore University, India. She also holds a Master's Degree in Human Resource Management from University of Colombo (UOC). Dimani’s areas of expertise are General Management, Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior. Currently, she is a full-time faculty member of the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM). She is also actively involved in consultancy projects catered by NIBM to public and private sector organizations.

Biography
Mr. Madhura Perera is a Consultant/Lecturer in School of Business at NIBM since 2019. He is also a Doctoral Candidate at Management and Science University, Malaysia and also holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the same University. He holds a First Class Degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Management specialized in Human Resource Management securing a full Grade Point Average of 4.00 which was the highest Grade Point Average scored at an Undergraduate Degree Program at the University. He was also the Valedictorian in the Graduating Class of 2018 and obtained the Gold Medal for the Best Overall Performance in the Undergraduate Degree Program along with the Gold Medal for the Outstanding Academic Achievement of the Year. He also holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Management with a Distinction from NIBM. He is also a Passed Finalist of the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka while obtaining the award for the Prize of Third in Order of Merit in the 2012 January Examination. He was also awarded for the Highest Aggregate Performance in Commerce Stream in the G.C.E Advanced Level Examination in the year 2013 at his Alma Mater along with the award for the Best Student in the Commerce Stream in in the G.C.E Advanced Level Examination in the year 2013. Before joining NIBM, he has gained almost three years of industrial and academic experience in the fields of Human Resource Management and Business Management. Mr. Madhura has taught courses on various Human Resource Management and Business Management subjects for students from Certificate level to the Degree level. He has also supervised numerous Diploma and Undergraduate dissertations and he is an active researcher in the fields of Mental Health, Education and Human Resource Management.

Biography
Ms. G. C. Wickramasinghe started her academic career at NIBM in 1999 by joining the Management Information Systems Division as a Lecturer/Consultant IT. She was the Course Director of several Higher National Diploma, Diploma and Certificate programmes at NIBM before she was appointed Head Computer Science in 2014. Since 2015, she is the Director of School of Computing & Engineering at NIBM. Mrs. Wickramasinghe is a member of the IEEE, an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka and is also registered as an Associate Engineer in the Engineering Council, Sri Lanka. Her teaching areas of interest include Digital Electronics, Web design and development, Management of Information Systems and Database Management Systems.

Dr. Buddhima Hansinie Subasinghe is an academic, researcher, scholar & a TEDx Speaker. The youngest PhD holder of South Asia who graduated at 24 yrs of age from the University of Peradeniya in the field of Computer Science. She holds 11 years of experience in her academic career & also a decade in media as a presenter of Sri Lanka Rupavahini Cooperation. She is the former Head Computer Science at the School of Computing & Engineering of (NIBM) & currently serves as Head Student Life & Engagement at the National Institute of Business Management. She was the Toastmasters International (USA) Leadership and Training Institute Chair, District 82, Sri Lanka (2017-2018). She served as the Area Director of Area G5, Toastmasters International, District 82 (2020-2021). She is currently appointed as Asst. Director Program Quality of Division I, District 82, Toastmasters International. She was the President of the NIBM Toastmasters Club. She was also awarded the emerging ICT Leader of the Year National Excellence Award at Infotel 2017. She was Internationally recognized at the Top 50 Women Awards 2018 for her Leadership Excellence in Information Technology. She is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Professional Managers (CIPM), Sri Lanka. She serves as a Task Force Member of the Policy Formulation of the New Education Reforms of Ministry of Education of Sri Lanka. She is also a keynote speaker at many National and International forums who empowers youth and women in the fields of leadership, communication and engineering.

Mr. Thisara Weerasinghe is a lecturer and consultant at the School of Computing and Engineering, National Institute of Business Management (NIBM). He is a member of the British Computing Society and the Computer Society of Sri Lanka. He has Introduced several computing courses for the School of Computing and Engineering while directing computing courses from foundation to degree level. He has been lecturing various computing subjects for undergraduate students while supervising numerous undergraduate dissertations. Also, he worked in the IT industry as a software engineer before joining NIBM as a lecturer/Consultant. Mr.Thisara has participated in several training programs conducted by well famous international universities such as University College Dublin Ireland, University Technology Malaysia, Coventry University UK. In addition, he has represented several interview panels of public and private organizations in Sri Lanka for IT recruitments. Currently, he is reading his Ph.D. in Management and Science University, Malaysia.

Mrs. Wickramasuriya has over 20 years of experience in both private and public sector organizations. She had been an academic for more than 17 years at NIBM. Her expertise is in the areas of management, productivity & quality management and human resource management. During her tenure with NIBM she has been the Course Director for Higher National Diploma, Diploma and Certificate programmes taking the total responsibility from the moment a student joins the programme until the student completes the programme. She is a subject lecturer of Degree programmes and a research supervisor. Her research interests are in the areas of education, education quality and mobility. She has presented research papers in numerous research conferences and has a number of journal publications. She is an editor and been actively involved with development of academic documents in various higher education institutes.

Currently, she is reading for M.Phil at the University of Kelaniya. Biography
Mr. Ishan VH Wiratunga is the Head of Kandy Campus at the NIBM since 2019. Mr. Wiratunga is an Engineer by profession has obtained his bachelors of Engineering Degree from University of Peradeniya. He has obtained his Masters Degree in Project Management from the Universoity of Morauwa. Mr. Wiratunga has nearly twenty years of experience in the industry both local and international. Mr. Wiratunga has memberships of numerous professional and social bodied. Membership of Association of Project Managers (UK), Membership of Chartered Institute of Logistics (UK), Membership of Association for Quality, Membership of IES etc. to name a few. Mr Wiratunga has taught courses on various Engineering and Management subjects for Certificate / Diploma/ Bachelor / Masters students at NIBM as well as private and state institutions. He has supervised a few undergraduate and post graduate dissertations. He/she published a couple of articles on journals in the subject of project management. He is actively involved with social works and at honorary positions Mr. Wiratunga is a member of National Selection Committee for Chess appointed by the Minister of Sports. He in fact is the current president of Kandy YMCA.

Ms. Shamalka M Uduwella has obtained her Master’s Degree in Business Administration at University of Peradeniya. She is currently working as a Consultant/Lecturer Grade- I at NIBM. She possessed ten years’ experience as a Lecturer by delivering lectures for full time and part time Certificate, Advanced Certificate, Diplomas and Degree Level students at NIBM in different disciplines. Ms. Uduwella has done many research works related to Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour. All the research papers are already presented and published in several journals. Further she has successfully conducted several workshops and training programmes in Human Resource Development, Counselling, Mentoring and Public relations for both public and private sector. Currently she is consulting few entrepreneurs in developing their business strategies.

Mrs. Dushyanthi S Abeywardhana is a lecturer in English at NIBM Kandy. Being an alumna of University of Peradeniya, she has gained extensive knowledge in second language learning and teaching while working as a secondary school subject coordinator and a visiting lecturer at renowned institutions in the country. She’s developed a keen interest on exploring new trends of leaning and combining a multi-disciplinary approach when teaching English as a second language to non-native speakers of English. Mrs Abeywardhana is engaged in creative writing and poetry and her maiden poetry collection ‘Interpretations’ is about to be published. She’s currently reading for her Masters in English at university of Peradeniya. She is teaching courses on English language and Literature and her areas of expertise are ELT theory and Practice, post-colonial studies and women’s literature.
