Indian Institution of Management

The Indian Institutions of Management (IIMs) are institutes of management education and research that are under the purview of the government of India's Ministry of Education. They mainly provide undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and executive programs in Business Administration, as well as certain other courses. Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister, launched the creation of IIMs at the suggestion of the Planning Commission of India.
