Design

Foundation Course in Design offers students a comprehensive introduction to the core concepts and techniques in the field of design. This course is ideal for individuals aspiring to pursue a career in design, whether in graphic design, digital arts, or other creative industries.

The course begins with foundational subjects such as Communication Studies and Creative Studies, which help students develop the essential skills for effective design communication. Students will explore Design Fundamentals, covering key principles and elements of design, as well as Drawing Fundamentals and Analytical Drawing, essential for visual representation and conceptualization.

In the second semester, students will delve into 2-Dimensional Design and Figure Drawing, refining their technical skills and creativity. They will also explore Creative Technologies and Eastern Art, broadening their artistic perspective and understanding of global design traditions. Colour Studies will enhance students' understanding of color theory, an important aspect of any design work.

The third semester focuses on Advanced Colour Studies and Digital Photography, giving students the tools to create compelling visual compositions. The course also covers History of Art and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, ensuring students have the academic knowledge and practical skills to excel in the design world.

By the end of the course, students will have a well-rounded foundation in design principles and techniques, preparing them for more advanced studies or entry-level design roles.
