This diploma programme is primarily planned in order to provide both theoretical and practical knowledge for the students on Journalism and Mass Media. The programme includes wide area of media studies and journalism. This programme will provide an opening in communication processes (both in print and electronic), media activities and journalism, new developments and technological advancement in the field of communication and Media studies.

Lecture Schedule

  • Provide a knowledge on both theory and practical aspects of communication and media studies.

  • Develop the skill of communication language use and creative writing.

  • Provide an understanding of the role of the different media in modern society

  • Provide an understanding on the role of a journalist.

  • Provide Knowledge of specific media roles and skills

  • Provide an awareness of the legal environment in which the media operate.

  • Provide the skills to research, write and present effectively
