The Advanced Certificate Course in Manufacturing and Quality Management is designed for undergraduates, individuals with an A/L qualification and one year of working experience, or those with an O/L qualification and two years of working experience. This course provides specialized knowledge in both manufacturing processes and quality management, equipping students with the skills needed to ensure high standards of quality in production environments.
The course is structured into four sections. Section One covers the context of quality management, introducing students to various Quality Management and Quality Perspectives. Section Two focuses on Quality Planning and Inspection, where students will learn essential planning tools and inspection methods to ensure product quality from the outset. Section Three dives into Quality Control and Quality Assurance, providing insights into Control Methods, Control Charts, Reliability, and Quality Improvement Methods.
Section Four introduces Quality Management Tools, including the 5S Methodology, Lean Six Sigma, and Total Quality Management, all aimed at improving efficiency and reducing waste. The course also covers Productivity and Quality Management Systems, and students will develop practical skills in Project Report Writing. This program will prepare students to effectively manage quality processes and drive improvements in manufacturing environments, making them valuable assets in industries that prioritize quality excellence.
