Degree Programmes
BSc (Hons) Computing
The BSc (Hons) Computing degree, awarded by Coventry University is designed to produce graduates that have a high level of knowledge across a variety of computing technologies. Students will learn principles of computer science, such as mathematics, algorithms, data structures and ethics; as well as learn practical skills such as programming, user centred design, web development and mobile application development.
The uptake of digital technology in society has greatly increased our need for interactive computing devices. Whether these are for entertainment, education, work, health care or transport, computing devices have become an intrinsic part of everyday life.
Coventry University has an established practical approach to the teaching of computing subjects through activity-led learning, collaborative technical projects and simulation of real world problems. Given the breadth of the subject domain, graduates of the computing course are well positioned for a range of employment opportunities including software development, database/systems administration, mobile application development, web development and user centred design to name a few.
Upon completion of this degree, you will receive a qualification awarded by Coventry University.
