UCD Alumni Association Sri Lanka (UCDAASL) has launched its official website on 20th December 2009 at National Institute of Business Management auditorium. Professor Lakshman Jayathilaka, Chairman of National Institute of Business management and Dr.Michal MacDonnell, Director of Queen Business School, Ireland were the main invitees of this ceremony. According to the spokesman for the committee, this is an internationally recognized professional body of the graduates who have passed out of University College Dublin, Ireland. This alumni association would implement their activities in collaboration with UCD Alumni Association in Ireland. Students who have successfully completed their degrees at UCD can be members of this association. In addition to that UCDAA has given a genuine opportunity for the current UCD students to get memberships while they are studying. Sri Lanka branch of the UCDAA was established on 18th of October 2009. The committee had been formed within a small period of time due to high performance of the committee members and other supportive staff.
