In its attempts to take the management training to the provinces, the NIBM
has setup two Regional Centres in Kurunegala and Kandy. The first Regional
Centre inaugurated in 1986 is the Kurunegala Centre, which offers several
Diploma programmes in both computer and management development studies.
This centre offers promising programmes in management education.
Our main campus at Colombo and our regional centers in Kandy and Kurunegala
ensure that quality training is available through NIBM to a wider range
and a greater number of our valued students.
The NIBM intends to establish Regional Centres in other key districts
to meet the needs of the youth and those of the industry, for qualified
and trained personnel.
The newest addition to our training facilities will soon be open in Galle. A cabinet paper on this behalf submitted by the
Minister of Vocational and Technical Training Hon. Piyasena Gamage has been approved by the parliament.
